Metropolis Elementary 6th grade students participated in a math competition at Massac County High School. Students were given approximately 30 minutes to complete 30 math problems, which were then scored by high school students in the Mu Alpha Theta math club.
Metropolis Elementary participants included Aidan Short, Luz Reyna-Sevilla, Leja Lindquist, Kyra Ford, Braxton Gallo, Maxx Atkinson and Raylyn Hite. Luz Reyna-Sevilla placed first in the 6th grade division. Congratulations to all students who participated in this event!
